On-site Optimization Rules
(1) We should most targeted keywords in Title Tag.
(2) Meta Description Should be a descriptive information about our page. This should be not more than 120 characters long.
(3) Meta keywords contains list of keywords for the page & also synoniums of the keywords.
(4) First text after body tag should be a keyword.
(5) First keyword in body tag should be in H1 tag.
(6) We can use H2 tag & H3 tag multiple times on our page. So we should use our keywords on the page in H2 & H3 tag.
(7) We should have 350 to 400 words of content on the page so that we can use keywords with in content.
(8) Keyword density means reputation of keywords in every 100 words. So if we have 100 words content & we have used keywords two times than keyword density = 2%. Allowed density 2 to 6% this will create relevance for keywords.
On-site Optimization Techniques
(1) We should have alternate test (alt) for all images on the page this is helpful to increase keywords density & also it displays text when images not displayed.
(2) We should link all pages with each other, this helps in crawling of all pages & if all pages are crawled well than we get good keyword ranking for all keywords.
(3) We should link other pages through a keywords it helps to create relevance for other page & it gives keywords ranks to other page.
(4) Anchor text should be a keyword.
(5) Anchor tag (link tag) can have title tag with in it. This helps to increase keyword density with in the page.
(6) We should use keywords in page names like if our services is SEO services than the page should be seoservices.html
(7) We can use geographical area in page name like seoservices-india.html
(8) We should use different folders with category of services of products, if we have various categories of our services like

(9) Styles for formatting should be in external CSS File (Cascade Style Sheets) than we should links CSS Files with page using following tag. We should include JavaScript externally through .JS (JavaScript) file, so crawler can easily crawl the page.(10) We should use domain name with in keywords that helps to get good keywords ranking for that keywords like if we have services called SEO Services a domain like seoservices.com or seoservicesindia.com would be very much helpful.
(11) We should validate our page with Validator site of http://www.w3.org/
